Alessandro Arbo has graduated in Hermeneutics at the university of Tourin. Now he is “Maître de conférences” at the University of Strasbourg. He is member of the EA 3402 (“Approches contemporaines de la création et de la réflexion artistiques” and of the “laboratoire d'excellence” GREAM (“Groupe de recherches expérimentales sur l'acte musical”). He is member of the scientific committee of the “International Review of the Aesthetics and Sociology of Music” and of the “Rivista di Estetica”. His books are focused especially about Musical aesthetics and Philosophy of music. He has written many books as La traccia del suono.
